Rustic
Our rustic products aim to be both interesting and characterful. We try to use pieces of timber which are attractive in their own right. This allows us to work with the wood rather than against it. Whether it is reclaimed timber, driftwood, green wood or speciality timber, we believe all have their own charm. We gather our timber from various sources. Our driftwood is collected ourselves from various beaches. We also have various contacts in forestry and woodland management who help us find interestingly shaped and sustainable timbers. Occasionally we also work with local tree surgeons to make use of trees which have to be removed. This offers some interesting types of timber as various abnormalities produce interesting figuring.
Upcycling
We also upcycle and repurpose items to give them a new lease of life. From abandoned chairs to forgotten lamps, and even broken delivery pallets, we try to find a way to rejuvenate them and save them from being wasted. With our combined skill set we can work with almost anything and take great pleasure in the transformation. So many things get rejected due to lack of space and house moves and we aim to unlock the potential in these items by making them up to date, stylish, and useful.
